L’évêque de Polock Jacques annonce aux destinataires qu’il est rentré de sa visite au métropolite de l’Église russe, parle de l’instauration de bonnes relations entre le grand-prince de Lituanie Vytenys et Riga et propose de restaurer des relations analogues entre Polock et Riga, demandant notamment que le commerce du blé reprenne ; il rappelle le mode de résolution des conflits entre les deux parties.
